Naoise Jo graduated from Griffith College Dublin in 2018 with a first class honours degree in fashion design.
Her graduate collection Mine Heritage took inspiration from her childhood memories of her Grandad's true stories from his days working in the Manchester coal mines.
Industrial details, digital print and Victorian clothing elements can all be seen in this women swear collection. The pit brow lasses, strong Victorian women who worked in the coal pit and stood up for women's rights are also inspiration for this collection.
Naoise Jo aims to create unusual garments designed to enhance a women's confidence and to help her feel unique and stylish.
Naoise also has created a exclusive collection for Marion Cuddy Irish Design Emporium featuring minimal design focusing on architectural shape, Asian inspired silhouettes and texture.
Naoise Jo was a finalist in both the UCD Student Design competition 2018 and the Galway Now Irish Innovation Awards 2018.
She has also been featured in Vulkan magazine and The Irish Independent.
